SGPA (Semester Grade Point Average) is a measure of academic performance in a semester. It is calculated using the grades obtained in all subjects of the semester.
SGPA is calculated by taking the sum of the product of grade points and credits for all subjects, divided by the total credits.
SGPA is converted using the formula: (SGPA - 0.75) * 10. This is based on the UGC guidelines.
Example 1: SGPA = 8.1 → (8.1 x 10) - 7.5 = 73.5%
Example 2: SGPA = 7.94 → (7.94 x 10) - 7.5 = 71.9%
