Harry Brook Appointed England’s White-Ball Cricket Captain, Succeeding Jos Buttler
Harry Brook has officially been named England’s new white-ball captain, succeeding Jos Buttler in both One Day International (ODI) and T20 International (T20I) formats. This appointment marks a significant milestone in the 26-year-old’s career, solidifying his position as a key leader within the England cricket team. Brook’s elevation comes after Buttler’s resignation following England’s disappointing early exit from the ICC Champions Trophy in March.
Having served as England’s vice-captain in white-ball cricket for the past year, Brook is no stranger to leadership. He captained the team in five ODIs against Australia last September during Buttler’s absence, providing valuable experience for his new role.
