Anupama 5th August 2024 Written Episode
Episode Summary
The episode begins with Indra asking Anupama if she feels bad. Anupama responds that she feels bad for Anuj, not for herself, as he has been in immense pain for the past six months. She reflects on how if Anuj hadn’t tried to come that day, Aadhya would have still been with him. She calls herself a selfish mother, thinking that staying with Anuj would win her daughter’s heart and make her forget her hatred. Anupama admits that if she had known the consequences, she would have stayed away but became selfish instead. She recalls Anuj’s happy demeanor when he was coming to India to meet her, and laments how everything changed because of her. Bala then informs her that Aadhya is no longer in this world. Anupama, however, insists that as her mother, she knows Aadhya is alive and just hiding. She is determined that Aadhya will return one day. Indra advises Anupama to handle Anuj, even if he hates her, and asks her to leave. Anupama asserts that she will care for him, find Aadhya, and confront Vanraj Shah. She also suspects that Ankush and Barkha are hiding something and vows to uncover the truth. Nandita asks her to take care and leaves.
Homecoming Drama
Meenu arrives home and bumps into Vanraj. He inquires about her first day and asks her to be careful. Meenu mentions that her teacher was impressed despite some seniors trying to rag her. Vanraj, stating that ragging is illegal, assures her that he will talk to her HOD. Meenu assures him that her ragging didn’t happen as Sagar and others were there, making Vanraj suspicious.
Anupama reflects on Ankush and Barkha’s lies, confiding in Nandita that they were happy and partying when she asked if they had filed a missing person report for Anuj. It becomes clear that they had not filed a report and lied about searching for Anuj and Aadhya. Anupama resolves to uncover their many lies and vows to show her fierce side once she learns the truth.
Ankush and Barkha’s Fears
In Ankush and Barkha’s house, a curtain catches fire, worrying Ankush. He interprets it as a sign that Anupama can do anything. He laments that while they have gained business and property, they still have doubts. Barkha dismisses his fears, suggesting he should watch sports instead of TV serials. Ankush remains concerned and suggests they should be cautious to avoid Anupama’s suspicions.
Family Dynamics
Vanraj speculates that Sagar saved Meenu from ragging and questions Toshu’s lack of vigilance. Toshu defends himself, saying he couldn’t be at the hospital. Vanraj insists that Toshu should keep an eye on Meenu and not let her get too close to anyone. Kinjal arrives and mentions Meenu’s desire to buy shoes and have pani puri. Vanraj suggests online shopping, but Meenu wants to try the shoes first. Toshu offers to accompany them, but Kinjal declines. Vanraj asks Meenu to be cautious, and Toshu to follow them discreetly.
Kinjal dances and sings, mentioning that Tapish taught her some dance steps. Bala teases her, while Sagar brings gifts for everyone, including a flower for Anupama, which he found at the temple. Nandita expresses her desire to work from home to support Asha’s needs. Anupama encourages her, emphasizing her right to fulfill her daughter’s needs and her own as a woman. Indra humorously asks for help, and Bala volunteers. Anupama, still thinking about Barkha’s words, declares they need to increase catering orders. Meenu and Kinjal’s Outing
Meenu and Kinjal enjoy pani puri and discuss the Radha Krishna temple. Kinjal shares that her mother found Anuj there and talks about their love story, which Meenu finds more fascinating than fairy tales.
Devika’s Concern
Devika sees Anuj’s condition and breaks down in tears. Anupama arrives, and both women share an emotional moment. Anupama tells Devika that she needs her help.
