Anupama 17th October 2024 Written Episode Update 

The episode begins with Dolly calling Meenu. Baa asks her who she’s talking to. Dolly says, “To the one who doesn’t call me anymore.” Baa suggests she patch things up with Sanjay Kumar. Dolly expresses her pain, saying, “My daughter doesn’t call me, but she calls her Bhabhi (sister-in-law) every week. I have to ask her how she is.” Baa assures her support. Dolly adds, “You cry for Bhai (brother), even though I’m still here.” She shares how she’s unable to work due to her poor health and spends all day looking at her phone. Baa insists she end the fight with Sanjay Kumar, but Dolly leaves, saying, “Please, don’t.”

Anupama overhears the conversation and approaches Baa, who worries, “If something happens to your Babu Ji and me, who will take care of Dolly?” Anupama assures her, “I’m here. I’ll take care of everything.” But Baa presses, “What if you leave? Can you find what you’ve lost?” Anupama replies, “First, I need to find it,” and walks away. Baa mutters, “You won’t find it.” Babu Ji overhears this and calls Baa selfish. He says, “She’s expected to take care of your daughter, but she can’t even meet her own.” Baa, hurt, asks, “If I’m so bad, why do you stay with me?” Babu Ji responds, “Because we’re family.”

Meanwhile, Prem’s friends tease him for always talking about spirituality. They tell him, “That girl was right. You sound like someone from the 70s.” Prem defends himself, saying he’s come to find his life’s purpose, not to think about girls. He closes his eyes and sees Aadhya’s face, questioning Kanha Ji, “Why am I seeing her when I’m here to focus on my life’s goal?” Just then, a man named Sattu arrives, greeting them with “Jai Dwarkadeesh,” and offers them a place to stay. Aadhya, watching from a distance, tries to catch up to them as they drive away, but they don’t stop. Frustrated, she tells her friend, “There goes the hero, and I don’t even know whose money this is.”

Anupama plans to visit Dwarka and starts daydreaming about Anuj, smiling as she imagines him there. She reflects, “You’ve gone far away from me, but the feeling that you’re still close has never left me. You’re in my every breath, in my heartbeat.” Just then, Mahi interrupts her thoughts, saying, “You can’t go to Dwarkadeesh like this.” Anupama responds, “Before I lost Choti, Kanha Ji gave me another daughter.” She hugs Mahi, reminding her to focus on her studies as exams are near. Pari and Ansh arrive, and Pari asks her to bring back Prasad. Anupama agrees, and then the lights go out. Pari, full of hope, says, “Maybe a new light will come.” Anupama’s thoughts return to Aadhya.

Aadhya, meanwhile, is busy calculating and tells everyone that the ashram is already mortgaged. “We need to find a way to cut costs,” she explains. When Vyas asks her why she’s doing all this for them, she replies, “Because you’re my family.” The children complain they can’t sleep, so Aadhya sings them a lullaby. At the same time, Anupama sings a lullaby for Mahi, Pari, and Ansh. Vyas asks Aadhya where she learned this lullaby. She replies, “From my mother,” and then thinks to herself, “A mother who is dead to me.” Anupama, on the other hand, believes that the hope of reuniting with her daughter is what keeps her going. Aadhya, however, hopes she never sees her mother again.

The next morning, Anupama is about to leave with Ansh and asks Toshu to give a cheque to someone. Toshu reassures her that he’ll handle everything. Anupama reminds him, “There should be no compromise on the quality of the food.” Toshu tells her not to worry. Anupama also tells Mahi and the others that she has prepared burgers for them. Ansh teases that there isn’t one for Pari, to which Pari responds, “I know.” Before leaving, Anupama tells the children not to trouble Baa and Babu Ji. Babu Ji performs an aarti and gives her some curd and sugar for good luck. Ansh also asks for some curd and sugar. Before leaving, Baa bitterly tells Anupama, “You should accept now that your daughter is gone.” Anupama, shocked, replies, “Think before you speak. You’re still waiting for your son, and you’re telling me this about my daughter?” As she leaves, she remembers her moments with Aadhya, closes her eyes, and prays.

Elsewhere, Aadhya rushes, telling someone she’ll arrive in five minutes, but her sandal breaks. Frustrated, she decides to get it fixed with two nails. Prem arrives, picks up her sandal, and she accuses him of trying to steal it. Instead, he repairs the sandal and helps her put it back on. He jokingly tells her that although he used to fear water, he still bathes and drinks water now. Aadhya hands him a pouch of mannat money. Prem remarks, “This mannat is special—it’s a mother’s wish for her child.” Aadhya, still bitter, says, “Not all mothers are good.” Prem disagrees, saying, “All mothers are good; it’s us who misunderstand them.” Aadhya refuses to accept it and thinks to herself that whoever made this mannat must be quite extraordinary.

Anupama 17th October 2024 Written Episode Update 

Anupama, still hopeful, is preparing to visit the temple. Aadhya takes a peacock feather with her as she heads to the temple. Meanwhile, Prem watches as a mother comforts her crying child and reflects, “In Dwarka, people come together.”

Precap: Aadhya finds herself soaked, along with her bag. She worries about how she’ll find the woman she’s supposed to meet. She bumps into Prem, causing his phone to fall into the water. He demands she jump in to retrieve it. Meanwhile, Anupama and Ansh get off the bus, waiting for Vyas to send someone to pick them up.
