Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 16th October 2024 episode starts with Abhira asking Krish about Dadi. He says the doctors are lying, they are about to start her surgery. Abhira scolds the reporters and tells them not to spread false news. She says it is their duty to find the truth and stop spreading fake reports.

Meanwhile, Madhav tells the staff to take the case to court. He reveals that the man didn’t come for Maasa, but was sent to kill Abhira. Everyone is shocked. Manish asks why, and Madhav explains that the Verma firm lost the airline contract, so they wanted revenge. Maasa overheard the man’s conversation and tried to raise an alarm, and that’s when he attacked her. Manisha blames Abhira.

Armaan defends Abhira, telling Manisha that she’s still focused on the cabin. He says Manisha should stop blaming Abhira and even offers to give back the cabin. Abhira tries to calm him down, but Armaan remains upset, accusing the family of only blaming her. Manisha argues, saying Abhira controls Armaan, and then she breaks down, with Ruhi comforting her.

The nurse informs everyone that Kaveri’s condition isn’t stable, leaving them devastated. Abhira leaves and goes to the temple to pray. Abhira starts feeling dizzy. A lady at the temple notices and tells Abhira that she is pregnant. Abhira is shocked, as doctors had previously told her that she couldn’t get pregnant. The lady assures her that she is not mistaken, but Abhira is reluctant to believe it. She leaves the temple feeling weak, and Mata’s chunri falls over her.

At the hospital, Ruhi tells Armaan that Abhira has hurt Dadi and ran away. Armaan responds angrily, warning Ruhi to stay quiet or he will reveal her wrongdoings to the family. The doctor comes and informs everyone that Kaveri’s surgery was successful, and she is now out of danger. Armaan goes to inform Abhira.

Abhira returns to the hospital and sees a couple with their baby, smiling at the sight. Armaan looks for her, but she goes to the doctor who confirms she is pregnant. Abhira feels overjoyed and immediately thinks about telling Armaan. However, the doctor warns her that the pregnancy is not safe due to her genetic blood disorder. There is a high risk of excessive bleeding during delivery, and there’s a possibility of a miscarriage. The doctor advises her not to continue with the pregnancy.

Manish arrives and reassures Abhira that Kaveri is out of danger, but Abhira starts missing Akshu. She then sees a lady being taken on a stretcher, and nearby a man yells at her husband for not saving her. The man explains that he had to choose between saving his wife or his child, and he chose the child. Armaan declares that he would always choose Abhira over anything.

Armaan then finds Abhira and tells her that Dadi’s surgery was a success. He sees the reports and realizes she is pregnant. In his imagination, he hugs her and is thrilled at the news of becoming a father. But in reality, Abhira remains silent, thinking she will fight to protect her baby and give Armaan the family he deserves.

Ruhi drops the kheer, and Abhira says she will eat the leftover kheer. Vidya comes and calls her greedy.
